Per quale motivo continuano a diffondersi i virus, gli spyware, gli adware? Principalmente, secondo me, per due motivi:

• DOWNLOAD a seguito di PUBBLICITA’ INGANNEVOLE

• DOWNLOAD di FILE INGANNEVOLI

in entrambi i casi si viene ingannati e spesso si può evitare, anche senza avere un programma antivirus installato nel proprio PC.

1° caso: DOWNLOAD a seguito di PUBBLICITA’ INGANNEVOLE, dopo aver cliccato su BANNER o su ANNUNCI a pagamento.

Per avere un numero maggiore di click, a volte, le socierà che distribuiscono VIRUS e SPYWARE (soprattutto nel secondo caso) possono addirittura sponsorizzarsi a pagamento! Cliccando su uno di questi banner si viene invitati a scaricare un FILE GRATUITO che poi, in realtà contiene uno spyware, un adware o addirittura un virus! Quindi può capitare che per scaricare un programma conosciuto o un’utility, ci si può imbattere in annunci pubblicitari che ci suggeriscono di scaricare il software direttamente dal loro sito web: questo software sarà probabilmente una versione modificata ad arte che apparentemente funziona perfettamente, ma in background, può far apparire delle finestre pubblicitarie o annunci di altro genere: questi sono i programmi AD-WARE ILLEGALI in quanto non avvertono l’utente della pubblicità che verrà visualizzata sul proprio PC.

SOLUZIONE

Non cliccate sui banner che vi regalano i programmi, fate attenzione ad utilizzare sempre il sito ufficiale di una determinata software house e non aspettatevi mai di VINCERE IL PRIMO PREMIO DI UNA LOTTERIA ALLA QUALE NON AVETE PARTECIPATO! ;-)

2° caso: DOWNLOAD di FILE INGANNEVOLI a causa di ricerche di crack, serial, keygen o unlocker

Quasi tutti gli utenti "esperti" hanno effettuato almeno una volta, una ricerca, al fine di trovare un sistema per sbloccare un programma demo / trial / shareware che si è bloccato in quanto è scaduto il periodo di prova "gratuita". Questi programmi, spesso, contengono al loro interno uno spyware o un trojan (un virus di tipo back-door) che permette ad altri utenti di prendere il controllo parziale o totale di un PC: questa procedura è spesso usata per sfruttare il PC stesso e la sua connessione internet come proxy server o come mail server (per inviare messaggi spam) o addirittura per monitorare l’utente e i siti che visita, prelevando dati sensibili come indirizzi email o numeri di carte di credito (quando l’utente li digita sulla tastiera per effettuare un pagamento).

SOLUZIONE

Non utilizzate crack, keygen o materiale simile: spesso vengono rilasciati con lo scopo specifico di "attaccare un sistema". Se desiderate provare un programma o un utility che avete scaricato, preparate nel vostro PC una macchina virtuale da usare come TESTING PLATFORM. Esistono varie soluzioni per implementare le macchine virtuali, ma questo post non è fatto per descrivere le macchine virtuali. All’interno di questo blog, comunque, vi sono articoli che ne parlano.

LA SOLUZIONE E’ NELL’OPENSOURCE, il software GRATUITO e FREEWARE

Se per le tue necessità, non sei obbligato ad optare per un software commerciale, e non vuoi acquistare un prodotto che utilizzeresti in minima parte o comunque per un uso non professionale, puoi optare per cercare un software che abbia le funzionalità che cerchi e sia OPENSOURCE.

La suite più diffusa in assoluto per la videroscrittura e il lavoro d’ufficio in casa è sicuramente OPENOFFICE scaricabile GRATUITAMENTE dal sito:
