Personal experiences and problems with DOMINIOFAIDATE.COM

I usually do not make judgments on services, but when, suddenly, you're forced to change providers because, to save a few cents, you have registered the domain (which you just wanted the name to redirect to a web server on a VPS and MX servers Global like Google) with a provider that after 1 month of correct operation, the domain LOCK imputing the blame on Google ... I think too much.
The history.
April: register your domain with DOMINIOFAIDATE.COM with just DNS management services
May: Start to register the domain on Google Apps, but since I'm off with the times I take it easy.
June 13: the correct term configuration of Google Apps GMail in the version, so I get my emails on Google's servers having an interface and properly configured the MX server.
July 14: dramatic date, the website still supported Google Apps (by changing the CNAME DNS entries DOMINIOFAIDATE.COM) is no longer reachable, it will by my network from anywhere in the web traceroute.
Contacting the service on 15, when it stops working all'intefaccia also access your mail, last service still alive but without email for 24 hours. After verification of my personal conclude that it is their fault, then, using the appropriate form available on their website to write:
"I do not work anymore docs.XXXXXX.it the subdomain, and not having changed anything I do not know what to attribute the problem, you could do a check? Thank you. Emmanuel "
I respond well the first time:
"Dear Emmanuel Persians, we respond to the request # 599000:

From the point of view there are no DNS server problems I abnormalities, also is the record she set up DNA from:

Docs CNAME ghs.google.com.

The subdomain points to ghs.google.com docs.XXXXXX.it that displays the 404 Not Found error. In this case the problem lies with the Google service. I advise you to check the configurations on the Google service. "

In addition to typing errors, however, it is clear that, in their opinion, if the page does not appear is the fault of Google ...
After my urgent request for verification:
What I know is strange that the DNS is not really solved.
since the services are online and accessing Google from the address
Directors everything WORKS
I doubt that I say it is not your fault.
Also today, neither does a POST.

If the service is not restored to a statement by you ask
legally valid, which declared that it is caused by the server DOWN
and Google services.

But if I say it's because of a wrong configuration and your
replication of the DNS servers I understand that there was a problem and that
is solved.

As you can see:

http://tracert.com/resolve_exe.html?arg=www.XXXXXX.it
or

Other domains registered with google apps but always supported in Aruba:

http://tracert.com/resolve_exe.html?arg=docs.manulele.net

But with proof of an address CONFIGURED AND CERTAINLY NEVER EXIST
http://tracert.com/resolve_exe.html?arg=hjdshf.manulele.net
error returned is the same with you.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE.

Also point out that, again because of these problems, even the servers

If the service is restored and fully functional in
24-48 hours we will transfer domains to another

I wished them stating that:

Dear Emmanuel Persians, we respond to the request # 599000:
Forgive me, after a more precise check the DNS configurations set by you are not incorrect.
Create a record according to the parameters :[...]

In practice suggest to recreate all areas ...
Thus requiring a phone call to speak directly and try to identify what caused the malfunction, generated in the perfect after 1 month of running, they respond by changing their first release:

Dear Emmanuel Persians, we respond to the request # 599000:
the problem depends on the service of Google.
The problem is an incorrect configuration of DNS parameters. I suggest you consider our previous response, to proceed properly.
The "DNS Management", allows you to configure zone records based on its needs.
I'm sorry, but technical support is exclusively via the ticketing system. The number is only expected to trade issues.

At this point I leave to you all, webmasters and resellers of its services with a sincere and practical decision. It's worth saving a few dollars (or a few cents) and then have a service that you lose the data? Perhaps at times the stability is quite important. XXX think that after months of construction of the site your client loses visibility to Internal for XXX days and any email. Maybe the deal gets a little 'more demanding some coin saved.

It's your decision!

I asked yesterday, I change the provider.

Hello, I would be as willing to move my domain from Aruba to DominioFaiDaTe and then pipe it to a U.S. hosting I already have, reading what I write has risen more than one question ... Would you be so kind as to tell me what you've given and registrar if it works well?
    Thanks

  2. I use various Aruba and I am fine (even with the url to redirect or DNS)
Alternatively use without problems (for now) http://rubalo.it/ but is a bit 'slow in the administration (but accettabilissimo).
Among the international players, however, prefer http://www.name.com is instantaneous in all, after 5 minutes to record a dominio.com is fully functional! This pixel has great rates for some but bad for other extensions.
Let me know what you choose!

Hello, if you have to do a redirect of a domain name the best I've found to date is very Tophost. You can also buy just the TOPNAME and immediately set the redirect also still have a mailbox with the name of the domain. The cost is really negligible, but if you use the server for a site provider as space is limited only 500 mb. Hello, Max

Emmanuel, I also have a company that registers Internet domains, and I find nothing strange policy to respond only by ticket.
You have no idea how much is the staff? Having a call center?
They have obviously followed the logic of "do it yourself" and they give support by email only
I can not find anything strange in their answers, you have just said to check the configuration of DNS and / or try to recreate the zones.
I'm not taking anyone's defenses because they do not have domains and do not know how they work.
From a little research on the net seems to be a provider booming and I found no complaints on the net.
    Happy New Year

I bought the domain, web space, MySQL databases. and the installation of wordpress on DOMAIN DO IT YOURSELF.
now, instead of having the interface of wordpress on my domain I am the word "parked domain" and also advertising google adwords! I do not have parked the domain and I did not put any advertising adwords.
do not understand why money should DO IT YOURSELF DOMAIN behind me and why should I pay for a service that I have.
you know give me an explanation?
I'm sure that will solve the problem quickly and to point out this is not my site, but surely someone less experienced than I would have started to click on google adwords advertising to find solutions, perhaps for a few days before realizing that depends dominiofaidate. domain in this way do it yourself as well as gain from me for a service that is giving me, also earns from google adwords. stinks of fraud. is a violation of the rules of adwords also looking on google maps here is what comes out of the company:

    DominioFaiDaTe Ltd.
    Via Marseilles, 58, 07100 Sassari
    DominioFaiDaTe Phone: 02 8960 5244

you notice anything? DOMAIN DIY as I get the phone with the prefix if the center of Milan and Sassari? is another clear violation of the rules of Google Places. google it if you want to use the phone number of seats must match the business location. short wait for the next few days to see what happens and what is the answer ... otherwise dominiofaidate given that Italy is useless to denounce a report to google ... I do not think it will go smooth.

  6. Hello Manuel, I'm sorry for what happened to you but I think that regardless of their inaccuracy DOMINIOFAIDATE not have that many hits, I think instead of offering good service at a competitive price.

By default this was simply an unfortunate disaster and probably unwittingly have made some "mistake" with the DNS setting.

  7. Giampaolo says:

I also had a big problem with dominiofaidate.com

I requested the transfer of a domain. Com, and it all worked out fine.

The problem is that the lords of dominiofaidate have not updated their DNS information, so that the NIC is still pointing to that domain's DNS provider vechcio which of course has already cleared the area, since the domain was transferred.

Panel dominiofaidate I am told that the domain is still being activated (after 3 days) and I can not update the dns ....

I tried to send a dozen emails, I called also to the "head" of the company (retrieving the phone from the WHOIS dominiofaidate.com

Result? Nothing, after 2 days the domain is still pointing to the old DNS and does not allow me to update the data. The NIC can not do anything about it.

For two days the domain in question is not visible, does not work email etc. ..

So do not take the services of these gentlemen to save a few euros. Go to companies that offer a secure help desk seriously.

Dominiofaidate should spend 30 seconds, connect the nic through their control panel and update data, nothing easier.

After 2 days still not managed to do so.

    INDECENT!

To me it seems strange that they insisted in saying that it was not their fault, when I had done my part to configure properly. It is the first website that re-address that Google Apps, and Aruba is fully automated (I have never found problems). Obviously then, as I wrote in the title are personal experiences. The fact that it is expanding rapidly, however, should not be a good reason to trim message "automatic" to problems.
