Upload photos on the web or send email quickly at low resolution

In order to properly load the pictures on web pages or send email easily, it is recommended that you load with a maximum width of about 1000-1200 PX.

You can do to reduce them in various ways, the easiest way is with Picasa.

Picasa can be downloaded free from the page:
http://picasa.google.com

Once installed, Picasa lets you see ALL the photos you have in your PC, by going to Text Box which is located in the upper right you can search to find the photos you need, you can search for both a part of the name of file is a part of the folder that contains your photos.

Once you find the photos you must select (or select them all together if more than one) with your mouse and click on EXPORT (large button at the bottom of the screen).

At this point you can either choose the folder in which to export the photos, is the maximum size of the exported photos. For example, typing "400" sub "RESIZE A", the photos would have as a value of length 400 pixels on the longest side.

The photo (or photos) will be exported so small (as weight in bytes) and the right size, will consequently be even easier to email or upload to the web.

It is also possible to send photos via email with 1 click, simply is clicking EMAIL instead of EXPORT.
