Why continue to spread viruses, spyware, adware? Mainly, in my opinion, for two reasons:

• DOWNLOAD after ADVERTISING 'MISLEADING

• Download file MISLEADING

in both cases you are deceived and often can be avoided, even without an antivirus program installed on your PC.

Case 1: DOWNLOAD ADVERTISING after 'misleading, after clicking on banners or paid advertisement.

To get more clicks, sometimes the socierà distributing Virus and Spyware (especially in the second case) may even sponsorship payment! Clicking one of these banners you are invited to download a FREE FILE then, actually contains spyware, adware or even a virus? So it may happen that for known or download a utility, you may come across advertisements that suggest you download the software directly from their website: This software will probably be a modified version of art that seem to work perfectly, but background, can bring up windows advertising or other ads: These are programs AD-WARE ILLEGAL because it does not warn the user of the advertising that appears on your PC.

SOLUTION

Do not click on the banners that give you the programs, make sure to always use the official website of a certain software company and do not expect ever to win first prize in a lottery in which no you participated ;-)

Case 2: Download file misleading because research crack, serial, keygen or unlocker

Almost all people "experts" have made at least once a search in order to find a way to unblock a program demo / trial / shareware that crashed as the trial period has expired "free". These programs often contain within them a spyware or a trojan (a virus back-door) that allows others to take over all or part of a PC: This procedure is often used to exploit the PC itself and its internet proxy server or mail server (for sending spam) or even to monitor the user and visiting sites, taking sensitive data such as email addresses or credit card numbers (when the user type on the keyboard to make a payment).

SOLUTION

Do not use crack, keygen or similar material: they are often released with the specific purpose of "attacking a system." If you want to try a program or utility that you downloaded, prepare your PC into a virtual machine to use as TESTING PLATFORM. There are several ways to deploy virtual machines, but this post is not meant to describe the virtual machines. Within this blog, however, there are articles that talk about it.
